The first week of the book fair was a great success—thank you for your support! Students previewed the fair last week and will begin shopping during school hours starting tomorrow. If you are unsure which day your student will be shopping at the book fair, please contact your child's teacher for more information.

In Memory of Sharon “Jill” Ray
It is with heavy hearts we are letting our community know that our colleague Ms. Sharon "Jill" Ray passed away unexpectedly at home yesterday 11/11/24.
Sharon was a valued member of our Middle School staff and worked closely with our Life Skills students. She was kind, creative, hard-working, and went above and beyond for her students. Sharon was always willing to help wherever she was needed and will be terribly missed.
If your student was close to Ms. Ray and is in need of support, please contact student counselor Ms. Boland.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Sharon's family, friends, and all who were close to her.
CVHS TAG is adding a special performance of their fall show, "Blithe Spirit" by Noel Coward tomorrow, WEDNESDAY night beginning at 6:30 pm. Anyone coming dressed as a Ghost Guest will receive $2 off their admission. We will also be offering our final performances on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available at the door.

Howdy CVUSD Families! We've had a great start to the school year in our Food Service Department. We are feeding around 500 more students a day compared to last year and we hope our numbers keep growing! Please encourage your kiddos to come enjoy delicious, nutritious breakfast and lunch in our cafeteria's at no cost for all enrolled students (with the exception of second meals or snack a la carte items). We invite you to join the Camp Verde Marshals and the Yavapai-Apache Police for the National Night Out this Thursday, October 10th. This fun community event will feature food, games, prizes, and more! Everything will be set up at the school district office parking lot, located at 410 Camp Lincoln Road, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
