Hello CVES parents and guardians. Tomorrow is our first Friday Camp. If you received a confirmation for your child, please have them here tomorrow by 7:45. The pick-up time is 12:00. If your child misses more than 2 Friday Camps, they will be dropped from the program.

CV Schools will be closed on Monday. However, we invite you to join us for the Martin Luther King march at 10 AM that morning. The march will kick off at the community gym in town, continue through the streets, and return to the gym for a special activity. We would love to see you there!

CVHS TAG students merrily invite everyone to The Best Christmas Party Ever! Friday, Dec. 20th at the TOWN GYM on Hollamon (not the theatre!). Fun for all ages! Come for some old fashioned holiday fun: Cookie decorating, Christmas Karaoke, Christmas Crafts, an UGLY SWEATER CONTEST, and more. And we'll wrap up our evening with what just might turn out to be the best Christmas pageant ever! Doors open at 6:30 pm. Admission is by donation at the door. Extra snacks will be available for purchase.
Camp Verde Elementary School is so thankful for the generous donation from Optimum! This week, Camp Verde Mayor, Dee Jenkins, and many wonderful Optimum staff members presented a $30,000 check to Principal Campbell and CVES staff! CVES is purchasing two large Chromebook carts with the donation to help reach our 1:1 technology goal in 3rd-5th grades! Thank you Optimum & Mayor Jenkins! We appreciate you!!!
Secret Santa December Fun on Day 7!!! Something pink-tacular is happening today!!! Teachers seem to have traded their usual wardrobes for a whole lotta pink! From pastel hoodies to hot pink blazers, it's was like a bubblegum explosion hit Camp Verde Elementary!!!
Secret Santa December Fun on Day 6! Teachers were spotted swapping out their dress shoes for sneakers, and jerseys! Was there a school-wide athletic event we weren’t told about? Or was it just Secret Santa playing tricks on us?
Secret Santa December Fun on Day 5! Teachers spent the day showing up in suspiciously student-like outfits! Hoodies, backpacks, trendy sneakers... is that a teacher or just a very tall elementary student?! Coincidence? We think not.

CVES Staff kicked off December with a fun “Anything but a Cup” surprise day on Monday which kept students smiling and asking many questions throughout the day!
Today some 2nd grade classes got to learn all about the turkey. They also got to draw a Turkey with a quill 🪶 and ink. What a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving.
