*The Spring fair will take place February 6th, through the 17th.
Share together, learn together, and empower our Native American students. An Indian Parent Education Meeting will take place on January 18 at 6:00 PM.

Parents, here are some helpful tips to ease the transition from the holiday festivities back to school time:
- Adjust your child’s bedtime gradually several days before the first day back.
- Keep them busy with extra physical activity before going back to school.
This helps with back-to-school jitters and nervous energy.
- Talk to your child about what they can expect the first day back to help to build excitement and ease anxiety.

Come support the Camp Verde Cowboys Boys and Girls Basketball teams today as they play in the Annual Yvonne Johnson Tournament competing with teams from around the State.
This morning's games are back-to-back in the Middle School Gymnasium. The Boys will battle Lee Williams of Kingman at 10:30 AM, followed by the lady Cowboys at 12:00 PM competing against Red Mesa.
Games continue throughout the day at CVHS, CVMS, and the CV Community Center. ( See the bracket attached.)

As we finish up our first semester of the school year, we are looking forward to a brief break, but also excited for the learning accomplished and enthusiastic about the future. Dear Camp Verde USD Community,
At Camp Verde Unified School District part of our Vision is “Providing students a safe and caring environment….” We develop policies, practices, and procedures to ensure this and other goals for our district are accomplished. Recently it has come to our attention a video was shown at one of our schools in violation of these policies. Our district investigation is ongoing, however we wanted to inform the community of the information we do have and our response in dealing with this situation.
The following video was shown to middle school-age students without appropriate approval and permission.
While the educational nature of this video is important, some of this video is inappropriate for our students. This is a violation of our policy IJND. Parents must have prior access and give signed written consent to videos of this nature. We apologize to our community for failing to obtain this permission.
Personnel issues are confidential. However, please be assured this situation is being addressed. Policy IJND will be reviewed district-wide so there are no future circumstances of this nature.
